Scholarships
Short term missions are impactful and important.
We encourage you to explore going!
The Jeff Johnson short term mission scholarship.
Jeff and his wife Dana with their children and grandchildren. He loved people. These were his favorite people!
My brother Jeff passed away from cancer in February 2024. He had a deep love for Jesus, his family, and his friends. He truly embraced life. Beyond his relationships, Jeff was passionate about many things—sports (especially football), crafting, fixing things, and sharing dad jokes. One of his greatest joys was participating in short-term missions. He led and joined over 40 trips to Central America and the Caribbean. At one time, he even moved his young family to the Dominican Republic for three months to support a missionary on furlough. Jeff was dedicated to helping build the Church.
Inspired by his legacy, we founded the Jeff Johnson Mission Scholarship to ignite that same passion in others. We aim to provide financial assistance to those embarking on their own mission trips, encouraging more people to experience the joy of serving.

These are a a few pictures of Jeff on mission trips. The top middle one is my favorite. Jeff is pulling and my other brother, Phil, is pushing/steering a wheelbarrow of concrete. They were pouring a concrete ceiling at a church in the Dominican Republic in the early 80s. The building is still being used for worship today.
