The Jeff Johnson short term mission scholarship.

My brotherJeff passed away from cancer in February of 2024. Jeff loved Jesus, his family, and his friends. He loved life! Besides people, Jeff loved many things, sports (especially football), making things, fixing things, dad jokes, among many other interests. Jeff's favorite thing to do was probably short term missions. He led and went on over 40 short term trips to Central America and the Caribbean. He also relocated his young family to the Domincan Republic to fill in for a missionary's furlough for 3 months. He was passionate about helping build the Church.
We started On A Mission Inc for the same reason. We also want to ignite passion for others to go on their own mission trip. The Jeff Johnson short term mission trip scholarship is up to $1000.

These are a a few pictures of Jeff on missions trips. The top middle one is my favorite. Jeff is pulling and my other brother Phil is pushing/steering a wheel barrow of concrete. They were pouring ceiling at a church in the Dominican Republic in the early 80s. The building is still being used for worship today.
